In Vedic astrology, the planet Saturn is called SHANI. In Sanskrit, Shani comes from SANISCHARA, which means "slow mover." Shani is the most feared planet of the heavenly bodies. He is the god of Karma, justice, and retribution and delivers results depending upon one's thoughts, speech, and deeds. Shani is the indicator of longevity, misery, sorrow, old age, discipline, restriction, responsibility, delays, ambition, leadership, authority, humility, integrity, and wisdom born of experience. He also signifies spiritual asceticism, denial, non-attachment, penance, discipline, organization, conscientious work, reality, and time.
Recalling Saturn's last sign shift into Capricorn brought significant changes to the world with the Covid-19 pandemic and the lessons we learned in living and working in a world on restriction. In the early stages of Saturn's shift, which is usually the most painful, there were many unknowns, resentments, struggles, losses, and death. However, as he continued through the sign of Capricorn, many found blessings with newfound strength in humility, resiliency, and overcoming challenges and adversity.

Saturns shift from Capricorn/ and the Lunar Mansion Dhanishta into the second half of the Lunar Mansion of Dhanishta is placed in Aquarius. These two are quite different even though they are the same Lunar Mansion. Capricorn/Dhanishta represents the urge to be responsible for the personal evolution of the soul. In Aquarius/Dhanishta, it represents the urge to be accountable for the evolution of humanity and the collective consciousness. This shift from Capricorn to Aquarius is all about serving humanity, and Saturn's discipline will teach us to devote ourselves to a higher cause rather than living a shallow, selfish life.
Aquarius signifies the things and energy related to the 11th house of a birth chart; Gains, Desires, Hopes and Wishes, Large Organisations, Network Circles, Friends, and Communities. Aquarius also represents Scientific Thinking & Research, Uplifting Society, and Higher Goals & Rewards.
Saturn's shift into Aquarius/Dhanishta will bring a new set of advanced lessons to the playing field, individually and collectively. The shift begins in the 3rd pada of Dhanishta and Saturn's exaltation point of 0' to 3'20 in Libra. This is an extremely comfortable and powerful position for Saturn. Saturn's shift will affect every molecule of the Universe. Dhanishtas Devata is the Ashta Vasus meaning eight elemental Gods representing aspects of nature, time, space, and consciousness. The Ashta Vasu are Apah, Dhara, Anila, Anala, Dhruva, Soma, Pratyusha, and Prabhas, more commonly known as Water, Earth, Wind, Fire, The Moon, The Polestar, Pre-Dawn, and Ether. These eight primordial energies combine to create the Lunar Mansion of Dhanishta, giving it all the resources it needs to move and combine in any given direction to achieve the needs and safety

Dhanishtha is also connected to Mars, who turned direct in Taurus a few days ago, and is not that comfortable in Taurus except for the degrees of 13-16'4 degrees which is where he is right now, so there's initiative, confidence, aggression, and possible build-up of resentment depending on how you are channeling your Mars. Mars and Saturn are enemies, so Saturn in a Mars-owned placement could create added agitation for Mars.
