Our eclipse season continues with a Total Lunar Eclipse in Vishaka, “The Star of Purpose.” Vishaka is the only Moon Mansion ruled by two deities, Indra, the God of the Heavens, and Agni, The God of Fire, and twin brothers. Together they create the symbolism of this Moon Mansion, which is a triumphal archway.
Our brother Jesus refers to a narrow gate with similar symbolism to the triumphal archway. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction; many enter through it. But, small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Eclipses open portals aligning the past and the future and sometimes life-altering experiences to assure you are on the straight and narrow path.
The archway, gate, and an eclipse portal all have one thing in common. Surrender. Surrendering your soul (heaven) and human ego (fire) to the will of the Divine makes the journey through the triumphal archway.
Part one of our eclipse season on April 30th was ruled by Yama, the God of Death. Whatever part of your life may have been affected is going through a transformation that will allow you to fit through the triumphal gateway.
This eclipse season offers hurdles on the human level, with the Total Lunar Eclipse and the Moon in a debilitated state. The mind and emotions may be unstable. Perhaps you're standing at the gate and have no idea if you should keep on the straight and narrow or throw caution to the wind and see what happens. Surrender, and your path will become clear.
Mercury is retrograde from May 10th until June 3rd and will offer the opportunity to revisit conversations and decisions that you have made in the past with yourself and others.
Mars is on the verge of changing from Aquarius to Pisces so beware of the struggles that may present themselves. You don’t need to know until it’s time. Save your precious energy and narrow your focus on what matters. The Sun has just entered into Krittika/Taurus, offers courage and confidence to follow your heart.
Neptune is trine the South Node, which supports a return to spiritual practices that supported you in the past to bring a state of grace and surrender.

Drink plenty of water-The waters of the earth are churned, as in the “churning of the oceans epic tale," during an eclipse, and the same goes for your body. Take this time to drink plenty of water so that whatever gets churned within can be flushed out of the system.
